The amount of data centers just west of Manassas, Virginia is insane! It’s listed as the world‘s largest collection of data centers and it’s estimated that up to 70% of the world’s Internet traffic is routed through these data centers daily. They are powered not only with electricity from our local power grid but some have also begin using nuclear energy. Many of the data centers have their own electrical substations as well. And this all is in a pretty busy suburban area less than an hour from DC so it’s highly populated.

For a place SOOOO concerned about the Chesapeake Bay's health, it sure does everything to destroy it. Also, Dominion has been fined, multiple times, for overcharging customers. We're so cooked 🤦🏽‍♀️

There should be a national moratorium on data centers until there have been in depth studies on the effects on air, water, soil, noise, electricity, and the justification and need. 😡

I will forever be an advocate for nuclear energy. It’s the best option we have at the moment and for some ridiculous reason we’re not using it anywhere near full potential (yes I also get having decertification in energy production is a good thing)
