Who cares if the variants hold value, I like that drawing, bruh. And about the spines damage: just don't feel the box to the brim (cause the comics then actually press against each other tightly) and you'll be fine.

Buying because you think you're gonna have a goldmine isn't a good way to be in this hobby. Just buy whatever covers look the coolest. For DC we're lucky that they include the basic cover under the cool ones.

Could it be like bad damage because I’ve had my books in my box like that for years and they don’t have any noticeable damage I don’t think I could put my comics like that because I go through the to much could it be make or break damage ?
