I paid off £100 last year!!
£900 out of my paycheck but £800 in tax added. Only £27k of a £23k loan left to go! 💀

I honestly don’t know why they’ve added huge interest rates to it 😩. Most people will never pay it off

Make university free but hard to get into, get rid of Mickey Mouse degrees, invest in apprenticeships and remove the idea that everyone needs to go to university. Problem solved. We need Doctors and Engineers.

I managed to pay off £200 last year, shame they added £3,000 interest. I graduated in 2017 and my student loan is currently sat a lovely £56,000 🫠

its backseat the gov are now treating it like a tax and not a loan. and they are about to make BANK off of us. they made £15.2 billion off of student loans last year. imagen what they will make now.

And the better you do/earn the more you pay off but by that point the interest is piling on so you still have no chance 😬

If you took it out at 18, you only start repaying once you earn over £28k. And if you’re on Plan B, the remaining balance is written off after 30 years so when you’re 48 it’s written off
