@jgreene1776: The snow and ice we had crushed our lively hood. It collapsed 2 out of 3 of our chicken houses. This has been my life for the last 13 years and 81 flocks!! There has been a ton of highs and lows but overall I enjoyed it so much and took so much pride in raising chickens, I was also very good at it. To see it all come crashing down like this has been so devastating and depressing. I just want to say thank you to the ones that reached out and offered help. It definitely shows who’s really there for you in a time of need. I had a tornado take out our 3 turkey houses and lemme tell you... what a blessing. we rebuilt back breeder hens and kept that for 5 years and sold it. paid for a new farm in full and just built pullet houses. what might seem devastating ends up being a new start 💜
