@jeanne_retired: Replying to @Slow_To_A_Stop totally agree. In retirement everyday shouldn’t be Saturday, because when every day is Saturday, Saturday isn’t the same. It loses it’s magic! #retirement #retired #retirementplanning
I guess I’m the odd person out. I’ve been retired for two years and have zero structure. I hated structure when I worked too. Oh well, we are all different.

I've have heard some advice from some older friends. They told me, be sure to retire to something and not from something. This has caused me to question what hobbies I will be enjoying during retirement as well as what items of structure I will need to ensure that I get off the couch as much as possible. Good point here Jeannie.

It is easy, Saturday and Sunday are the days you don't go shopping or to movies, museums or other public spaces. IYKYK.

I’m retired for last year and I have no problem with structure. Just throw in some appointments and you have way too much to do

Absolutely, Jeanne! When every day feels like Saturday, it loses that special charm. It's all about finding balance and keeping those weekends magical

I’m 8 months in… and still love the Saturday concept! What I notice is that there are more social events on the actual Saturday, because everyone is off!

I’ve been retired for 18 months now and I still have a mindset of the weekend. I still feel that I don’t want to commit to too many social obligations on the weekend. It really doesn’t matter because I don’t have to go to work on Monday. It’s a weird mind thing.

I was off for 4 months. Monday was my best day. Weekends were so busy, Monday was the best. Everyone else is back to work and there’s peace and quiet :-)

Please don’t wear the hair clip while driving / travelling in a vehicle because in an accident it could injure / kill you by penetrating your skull and brain . It has happened to an unfortunate lady and I tell anyone who wears one . 🥴
