good to know that it's accurate enough to be implemented widely. I feel like this happens with so many things. They question the math of carbon dating but not realizing those same mathematical principles are used to build our whole world around us.

The lingo obfuscates it and makes pursuit of understanding addictive. Spin that isn’t really rotating, for example.

I think people just project ”The unknown workings of everything” as quantum physics.

What about quantum mechanics not playing nice with the macro (relativity) aka not following the same physics making hard to reconcile the two. Asking a real question trying to understand.

Why does it work? … ‘Cause. How does it work? Allow me to point you to this stack of books.

It sounds like magic in most explanations. 😁
I liked your explanation but others do easily overlap with esotherics "just wish it better"

I think that quantum mechanics is the REAL REALITY ! It 's the cause of everything and what we see is just the consequences of quantum physics !

To say what the OP said in a different way, all interpretations of QM predict the same results, or else they're not plausible interpretations. Theory has to agree with experiment or something is wrong with the theory.

I think in an effort to make quantum mechanics easier to understand those interpretations were created by physicists to explain it. But they end up being huge simplifications and I think a lot of misunderstandings comes from the half explanation of what things like waves and particles are. It’s just been recent that I’ve seen QFT ideas put out there in popular general science to kind of round up previous “interpretations”.

There are too many parameters, and free variables. This lends itself to misinterpretation and misunderstanding.

Sorry Abigail, the phrase "it works every time" is a bit from the truth imo. I'm just an amateur loving science, but imo the quantum theory is almost a century refined and turned upside down a few times. And gravity still don't fit... Love your TikToks anyway!

sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic - it may not be magic to you, but maybe for a lot of people. Then you add in the unknown Why and we are off to the races.
