I feel like when your sick, you look at that as thinspo instead of negatively and personally, when I had an ED I watched this and watched her habbits so that I could do them and be like her.

Its really about you perspective when watching it , if you've delt with an ED in the past or are in recovery this could definitely trigger you , or maybe you just find it relatable and feel seen. But ppl who say they "got" and ED after watching the movie just doesnt make sense , i watch a movie about depression , yes it makes me a bit said but i dont become chronically depressed afterwards , i understand how if could influence young kids or adults but you most likely already had a bad relationship with food or body image before that and this movie just highlighted it for you. I personally don't feel like they glamorized EDs at all , because only one clip of the movie showed her body and the whole point was to show how EDs can negatively impact not only you but everyone around you , and showed us the process of recovery . Im sorry for anyone going through this at the moment , im not saying your experience is invalid just that the movie is getting misunderstood .
