Most of the deaths were due to drowning, unfortunately, the passengers didn’t listen to the flight attendants instruction and inflated their vest before exiting the aircraft and got trapped in the cabin.

I’m not a pilot obviously. But why did the pilot bank the plane to the right and not land it directly on its belly? Maybe he lost all hydraulics? Idk. Anyone? Jason/Presto, PA. (Pittsburgh).
