@Shattered glass🇨🇦: It’s a huge problem across Canada. Especially from India because they have corrupt lawyers and immigration schemes. Poor parents spend their whole lives saving only to get scammed in India. the schools and work places, like Tim Hortons take advantage of these kids. Tim Hortons houses them and with holds a part of their wages for housing. Essentially enslaving them. They often stay here floundering because it would be intensely shameful to go back home after being scammed. It’s a HUGE mess. It’s not really a government issue per se because Canada can’t vet every slimy immigration lawyer here or who the organization on the other end that is working with them.
