had a vulva cyst(not bartholin) removed under sedation/local - was told to take Tylenol if any pain. I passed out with how severe that pain become when the local wore off that night. also, no direction on after care- why are so many GYNs still doing rather barbaric care in 2026?

I’ve Had a cyst since 2020 and till date, no pain infection or ruptures. The size has been increasing but that’s all. No discomfort at all. Do I need to worry ?

I had a very painful one at 17yrs old. Doc drained it but it came back. Doc decided to surgically remove it right away. He didn't think I should keep coming back to drain it so surgery was the best option. Glad I did that.

Bro the fyp is crazy. I have one right now that seemingly appeared overnight. Not much pain, its just huge like a marble. How on earth do you decide to see a doctor for it or not? 😭

Is this the same area as the skene gland? Years ago I had two cyst drained on each side. I remember the doctor telling me the cyst were larger than a golf ball and the tubes he left in to drain would fall out on its own.
