This watch might have been one of my biggest personal surprises of Watches and Wonders 2026 week! My love for Vacheron pieces is no secret. It’s one of my favourite—and, in my opinion, one of the greatest—horological maisons in the world. Period. Before this, I’d never had the chance to try on any of the American collection watches, and I have to say, they are an absolute dream on the wrist. This is the brand-new Historiques American 1921 ref. 82035/000R-H114, housed in a 40mm pink gold case (also available in 36mm). The beautifully grained silver-toned dial is complemented by blue hour markers, a blue minute track, and a blue small-seconds display. The signature diagonal layout is, of course, designed to make reading the time easier without turning your wrist—or while driving. The crown remains positioned at 1:30. Inside beats the manually wound Calibre 4400AS, offering a healthy 65-hour power reserve. It’s an incredibly comfortable watch and an absolute pleasure to wear. A wonderfully distinctive collection from Vacheron Constantin, and I’m a big fan of this new reference as well.
