I take the backing from the other tile, hold it up to the outlet and use it as a template. Then hold it against the tile to be cut.

i always take the backing of a full one i’ve used, use that to trace where the outlet is on the new one and cut. i hate measuring and it seemed like a full proof, lazy way to do it 😂

So what I did was I made a paper the same exact size of the tile and would tape it to the area as if it was the tile itself and pencil in where I need to cut out then put the paper on the tile nd mark it
