@annarussowellness: I used to weigh 210, currently 125-130ish. The important point is I used to yo-yo from 160 to 200 for YEARS until I figured out how to make health and fitness a part of my real everyday life and stopped trying to follow a strict all or nothing plan. Once I did that I dropped all my weight I got lower than 160 and I kept it off for 2 years effortlessly. And there lies the problem. Using food as a coping mechanism for something deeper. Food is not a comfort or escape strategy. Food is food and it should only be consumed for its intended purpose. Any other use of it requires an emotional healing trip to your subconscious mind to find out the root cause. Even adding Whole Foods to your food intake will result in a calorie surplus. And obviously the quality of the calories you ingest matters but the amount of calories regardless of their origin cannot be neglected. Food, work, alcohol, working out, binge watching……., mostly anything done in excess is a likely sign of an emotional subconscious pattern that requires personal healing from the root. IMO

I stepped on the scale and I was 201 probably about 6 to 8 months ago and I first went vegan and then pescatarian and now I am just eating whole foods balanced diet and incorporating fasting and I am about 175 now and honestly feels so content and free in my own skin.. I don't know if my mission is to lose more but I'm happy with where I'm at on the journey ✨💃🏼
