@jayne_edosalon: The best thing about short hair is, it can absolutely be versatile. You can wear it up and spiky, down with little mod, bangs, slicked and parted to the side. It’s really a way to play with your personal style and change things pretty radically quickly with a little gel and pushing it a different direction . I used gel instead of wax for John because his hair grows straight straightforward and I really wanted it to be up in the first clips. And of course, the mod shag is so good. @johnhein . The fun news is I’m going to be teaching razor cutting on a masculine shape and razor cutting on a soft more feminine shape both with bangs shaggy layers, etc. in New York in March! I’ve been asked many times to do the masculine version of my haircut and so I’m teaching it!
