Supercharging definitely costs more than gas when you do the math. Mine gets the cost equalivant of 21mpg on superchargers. (Gas at 2.70, SC 0.39/kWh, 342.5wh/mi) home charging is very cheap though

It’s rough for sure but, it’s worth it for me. This is my favorite car and my dream. I just shop while it charges. I can charge super cheap when I go into the office, and during the warmer months I can run an extension cord to level 1 charge.

Just my recommendation for people that’s buying these Tesla cars. Please do your research before you purchase home charging is what Tesla recommends your supercharging supposed to be only for travel long distance
