It’s crazy to me the valuation, attention, and expectations attached to the word guessing machine that uses a bunch of energy and water.

all companies are highly leveraged and have low levels of liquidity. Warsh coming in means major financial institutions are going to be required to maintain higher reserves. The money isn't there, they need liquidity and are going to continue to sell off risky investments and highly liquid assets. This can explain the sudden drop in the cost of precious medals on the last 2 days of the month after the announcement.

It is partially because AI tools allow companies to create software with less technical expertise - develop software with text prompts. Those vibe coding tools will eventually be mainstream in the consumer world, where people will prompt their own app solutions.

Paralegal work is definitely going to be heavily downsized, but how big of an industry is that? And how lucrative is it to "disrupt" it?

I’m still waiting on AI doing a basic excel formula hahaha they still can’t make it. My company prohibits us from putting our clients information into AI, so I still have to use excel.

Like I get the desire to get into ai, especially cuz the money to be made is probably like insane when it actually takes off. But I don’t understand how it works if it takes out what it’s built on in the first place. I’m I just like some old person like, “how could the internet ever replace real news articles from the papers?” But also I feel like there’s a huge difference between a medium, and foundation building
