OH I didn’t realize the part on the bottom unscrewed to reveal the piston…I thought the bottom of the pen was just the piston which looked terrible to me! Maybe I will consider this now!

since your nib is an extra fine, i would be a bit careful since shimmer inks tend to clog in finer nibs! i’ve heard some people have had issues with it in the past
