tried loving the kindest guy ever, i’ve known him for years but kept rejecting him until i was broken and he was my only savior. he made our relationship the happiest. made me the happiest woman alive for a very short time until we had a conflict about my past that was not relevant in our relationship. we were on and off until i found out he was cheating on me with my classmate while i was carrying a part of him in my womb:)

he has it all, protective, gentleman, full of efforts, emotionally intelligent, a good brother and a son. but i still said no, i gave him a chance to prove himself and he did it all, everything he can. yet a still no, i appreciates all of it i rlly do but i feel no spark nor excitement, he made me happy for a moment but the “butterfly in my stomach” never came so🤷♀️

The guilt is higher when you give him the chance but deep down know he deserves someone who actually loves him as much as he loves you. Ultimatly feels like a waste of time for both parties

Girl please listen to me; choose him. Even when you don’t love him, even if those butterflies in your stomach never came. I heard a saying that I get just now, when I marry my husband— “you can see how you much you love yourself by choosing your partner.” If logically, you know really well that he ticks all the boxes, the love will grow, eventually. oh god this... but there was just no attraction. all I felt was the butterflies that I was so genuinely liked. I ended up rejecting the confession after a while, and he told me back then that he wished I gave him a chance, gave a chance to know him more. but I just can't do all that and watch him be pained if I ended up really not having feelings even after a good while. so I chose that, even though I wanted to try. I just can't afford to risk people's feelings. idk, I can't afford to hurt someone unintentionally.
