I'm running an experiment. We see gurus everywhere claiming they've cracked the code to making money online. Secret hacks, hidden strategies, AI agents that supposedly do all the work for you. So I decided to put it all to the test. I dug into the strategies these gurus hide behind their paywalls, combined them with the promise of AI automation, and built an experiment around one of the most overhyped side hustles: selling journals on Amazon. But I'm not just uploading generic blank journals and hoping someone buys them. I'm using actual product research strategies. Analyzing low-star Amazon reviews to find unmet customer needs, validating demand through keyword research, and identifying opportunities where a better product could compete. Then I programmed an AI agent to automate the entire process. Research the reviews, validate the keywords, propose products, create 10 journals, build the Amazon A+ content, and even manage advertising campaigns with profitability targets. The idea? See if AI can actually build and operate a profitable side hustle with minimal human involvement. So far, I've made $0. And the agent hasn't been able to find advertising opportunities that meet my profitability targets. I'm making some adjustments this week, and I'll be checking in every 30 days to share the actual results. Not screenshots of hypothetical earnings. Real revenue, real expenses, and whether this thing makes any money. I break down the entire experiment in a video on my other channel. Let's see if these guru strategies and AI agents actually work when someone puts them to the test.
