Kishou Arima is one of the most important characters in the Tokyo Ghoul manga and the legendary strongest investigator of the CCG. Known as the Reaper, Arima built a terrifying reputation through countless victories against powerful ghouls. His calm expression, precise movements, incredible speed, and mastery of quinques made him one of the most feared figures in the entire series. Arima rarely shows emotion and usually speaks only when necessary. He approaches battles with complete concentration and analyzes his opponents with extraordinary precision. His famous quinques, including IXA and Narukami, allow him to fight opponents with different abilities and at various distances. His strength, however, is not limited to physical power. Arima possesses enormous experience and exceptional combat instincts. His connection to Ken Kaneki is central to the story. During their battle at the end of the original Tokyo Ghoul, Arima defeats Kaneki and leaves him critically injured. After Kaneki loses his memories, he becomes Haise Sasaki, a CCG investigator and leader of the Quinx Squad.
