@tzvhtv: White births in the U.S. have dropped below 50% of all births for the first time, marking a major demographic shift where minority births now constitute the majority. Data from 2016 to 2024 shows white births declined to 49.6%, driven by lower fertility rates, delayed childbirth, and an older age structure among white women. A 2026 study by the Zucker School of Medicine found that non-white births (Hispanic, Black, Asian, and others) combined reached 50.4% of total births, officially making white births a minority. The shift is largely due to higher birth rates among Hispanic women, who often have children at younger ages, compared to white women who tend to have fewer children and delay childbirth. Between 1999 and 2016, the number of white deaths rose by 9.2%, leading to a “natural decrease” where white deaths outnumber white births. 📉 #news #viral
