It was bred out of them, especially in large dairy production, the maternal trait isn’t a priority in the industry. Is what it is.

Amen 🙌 people think these animals just jump up and start eating on their own. And so SO often that is simply NOT the case!! Much more cruel to let them starve to death...though I could be wrong.
