@annaxmarii: I just wanted to say that I didn’t write this to make anybody feel guilty, I wrote this for me, as a way to express my own worries, my fears, my doubts, and my guilt, out loud. Do I think that occasionally saying no will traumatize my kids? No. And I understand that genuinely sometimes we have to say no, and that self care as mothers is important too, because we can’t pour from empty cups. But I am making it a goal this year to be much more intentional about my time, and to be more sacrificial with it, especially when it comes to my kids.
