@pickuptrucksuvtalk: 🚛💨 The EPA will be asking Diesel Giants Some Big Questions! Breaking News: the EPA is requiring the 14 largest diesel manufacturers to share data on just how bad their systems are—and what they’ll do to clean them up. 🧪📑 #CleanAir #DieselNews #EPAUpdate #AirQuality #Sustainability

I just paid over $3,500.00 to repair my def system on a ‘19 3500. Ever since repair it takes close to 90 miles to complete a regeneration losing over 4 MPG. Regeneration happens more often than usual now also.

I have a feeling they won’t find as many warranty claims on DEF as people claim. I think they’ll find the DPF system is the culprit. DEF is annoying but the only things that fail are usually minor.

It's the same as Ethanol. Less petrol emissions equals lower efficiency with ethanol. More total fuel consumption. What have you saved? Diesel after treatment- Uses extra diesel fuel to burn off soot, plus reducing efficiency. Maybe less soot, but more overall fuel consumption. Zero sum game. Creating less mechanical reliability. Which equals more waste.
