I just got my custom AFO and thought I would try the hobibear shoes all over TikTok. I am a size 9 regular..I purchased 2 pairs of the hobibear hightop shoes in size 9 wide and 10Wide.. I was actually able to wear the size 9 wide.. the design of the shoes ( extra wide toe box) is a AFO persons dream. I recently ordered several more styles ( for the price of 1 pair of Billy shoes ). I did go up 1/2 sizes just for ease of slipping them on. I can’t recommend these enough.❤️

You could try to loosen the shoelaces wayyy more and specifically at the front of the Sneaker :) That makes mine fit, because they have to be laced a bit differently than normal

And for those who are questioning why I didn't loosen my laces on my shoes. It's because these are a slip on style kind of sneaker. Loosening the laces won't do anything. 😅 I just need to get a better shoe for the AFO's.

Billy Footwear AFO friendly shoes are made for orthotics. You are small enough to find some that would work well, they zip around the side sole so you put your AFO on and place your foot with the orthotic on the sole and zip the shoe around the foot and there are all styles, boots, sneakers, casual etc.

You could try a brand called billie shoes they make adaptive shoes for afos do put your foot in easier

hi I were a afo with padding so a can't really where regular shoes and I really want to wear regular shoes is it possible to ask for a thinner brace and my brace has hinges so I can walk with my ankle and I wear this brace because my I cannot feel my foot or move it

unfortunately theres only a couple pairs of shoes that fit unless you buy 2 prs. 1 that is larger then the other.
