Genuine question from a Man who has two little girls aged 4 and 1 can I please be educated on why it takes so long for a diagnosis of endometriosis? Also aren’t there more female doctors qualifying and entering medicine? Can this issue of women being practically being dismissed by doctors now be reversed as more women enter medicine?!?

How it impacts male partners (love that this was just male ones and not female ones) and how attractive those with endometriosis are. It’s a joke. Who even approves these kinds of studies? Meanwhile, we’re still stuck with our only options being hormonal pills & surgery.

1 year. 1 year of none stop bleeding, one dr [a woman] was honest [and sympathetic] and said they don’t know what the issue is as they haven’t done the research. The male drs? Their attitude was - we’ve done all the tests what’s your problem just get on with it 🤷♀️
