KAJIWENI PRIMARY SCHOOL PUPILS FORCED TO LEARN IN MUD-WALLED CLASSROOMS WITH MUD FLOORS AS THEY APPEAL FOR CLASSROOMS, ABULITION BLOCKS ,FOOD AND DESKS Pupils at Kajiweni Primary School continue to learn under extremely difficult conditions in classrooms with mud walls and mud floors, without desks. These conditions undermine their dignity, safety, health, and ability to concentrate on their education. This is happening despite the Constituency Development Funds (CDFs) receiving about or over KSh 200 million annually, with part of its mandate being the improvement of educational infrastructure. No child should be subjected to such learning conditions in this day and age. Every child deserves a safe, conducive, and dignified learning environment. The situation calls for urgent intervention from the national and county governments, well-wishers, development partners, corporate organizations, and all stakeholders in education. The pupils are appealing for the construction of modern classrooms , abulition blocks,and the provision of desks to enable them to learn in an environment that promotes quality education and allows them to reach their full potential. Quality education begins with a safe and dignified learning environment. Together, we can ensure that no child is left behind.
