There were many different shapes of these clocks as well, including different types of intricate stencils. Some stencils were almost maze like which would burn for a very long time

I had no idea these kept time!! The whole time you were talking, I was wondering what measurement of time the incense is - like did they add them together as they burn?? Then realized they literally are free from the time we’re bound by - and literally are going off however long that burns…. So cool 🥰
