Glock is the goat. Heard problems with sigs, m&p, rugers, etc. Most people carry glocks and you never hear about any problems with them. I like beretta handguns a lot too but not for concealed carry. Some Taurus models are great too

Or, you could allow the trigger to reset fully, get back on the wall, smooth press. It’s only dangerous if you allow the firearm to dictate when you shoot.

This is a training issue. I teach off and on because of things like this. The Shield trigger isn't the only type of trigger to have a slight click to it before the actual reset occurs.

my m&p9 2.0 I've never had any problems with it(factory trigger or apex trigger) is that a problem with just the shield?

Had a shield in 40sw and damn thing wouldn’t cycle target ammo. Would cycle hollow points all day but not target ammo. Got rid of instantly.

With my sheild I've learned to basically just come all the way off the trigger 🤷🏻‍♂️I enjoy it enough it's not a deal breaker. I have several other pistols from different brands and the resets are all different.

This story is why I sent back my brand new M&P that came with a bad extractor from factory and a barrel that looks like they rifled it with an angle grinder then sold it after they “fixed it”

I’ve carried a variation of the shield since it came out in 2014. Have never had an issue.
