INGREDIENTS 600g chicken tenders or chicken breast sliced into strips 200g chilli heatwave Doritos crushed 50g plain flour 2 eggs beaten Oil spray Seasoning 1½ tsp smoked paprika 1 tsp salt plus a pinch directly on the chicken 1 tsp cayenne pepper ½ tsp onion powder ½ tsp garlic powder ½ tsp black pepper METHOD Preheat oven to 200°C or preheat the air fryer Crush the Doritos until they resemble chunky breadcrumbs, not dust Set up three bowls Bowl one flour mixed with all seasoning Bowl two beaten eggs Bowl three crushed Doritos Lightly season the chicken with a pinch of salt Coat each piece in flour Then egg Then Doritos, pressing them on firmly Place on a rack over a tray or straight into the air fryer Spray with oil Air fryer 200°C for 10 to 12 minutes Flip halfway and spray again Oven 200°C for 15 to 18 minutes They should be golden and crispy on the outside and cooked through ROGUE OPTION 🌯 I went a little rogue at the end and put them in a wrap Assuming the batch makes around 12 tenders 2 tenders in a wrap - 500 to 530 calories - 30 to 32g protein Add sauce if you want Just track it CREDIT Credit: @chrisxcollins
