I had a chemical at 5w2d. I only found out I was pregnant 5 days before I miscarried. Everyone sent me their condolences and I felt like a freak for not feeling grief. But the 5 days was just not enough time to feel that “bond.” By the time I started to get excited it was over 🤷♀️

This happened in November. I had two clearly positive tests (two different brands) and then the next day they were negative. I started my period three days early. I feel like a fraud for saying I had a chemical pregnancy because it was only two positive tests. I’m currently 7 weeks pregnant and do consider this baby our rainbow.

I had no idea what a chemical pregnancy was until I had to go through it. I found out on the 22nd and lost the baby 25th. It destroyed me. I am terrified to be pregnant again and the stress and worry will again destroy me!

Thank you for this. Currently going through a chemical. Positives all last week including 2 digitals. My lines never really got darker either though. I tested negative last night and this morning and I’m bleeding today.. would I consider this a period? IS it my period? I’m heartbroken but still want my baby so want to try again as soon as I can but not sure how to track 🥹

I think I’m going through this now. I’ve never been pregnant before so this did steal some joy from me for a first positive, but the silver lining is that it proves my body can fertilize and implant, so now I just need it to stick. 🤞

I was 4 weeks and 5 days when I got a negative test after testing positive for like a week and missing my period for a couple of days. Something felt off like the test getting lighter like you so I kinda knew.

Happened to me in December. It sucked so bad. But I tested positive on the 2nd and started bleeding on the 4th. As bad as it was, I’d rather it be 2 days than 2 weeks.

I just had a chemical in January and I completely agree with you. My peace came from God. I was devastated, and grieve the pregnancy/child I also still have hope and peace regarding the future. I was like you I wanted my body to start doing what it needed to do, my period, so I could move on from the chemical.

For those reading the comments: I had an ectopic and miscarriage that ended at 9 weeks. Chemical pregnancy, ectopic, miscarriage they’re ALL losses. Don’t let anyone tell you it’s not hard because you weren’t “far along”. Your feelings are so valid and we’re all in it together ❤️🩹

I’ve had a missed miscarriage and then two chemical pregnancies. All within 6 months. I will say other than physically, i felt the same emotionally. It’s for sure a miscarriage and horrible

I’ve never had a chemical pregnancy but I did have to get a D&C and I feel like I’m the only one who doesn’t mourn it and feel the need to post about it each year 😬 so honestly it’s refreshing to hear someone else in a similar situation. I got pregnant again and just feel like I got my baby and all is well
