Changed my strings recently with the elixir 12’s and they seem to have a more metallic rattling sound especially on the low E than the original strings, is this normal? Do they need breaking in first?

13’s 👀 I use 12’s for doing my Newton Faulkner stuff but 13’s man…fair play 👍

I kinda skip the manual stretching but personally - I always tune to a full step higher than standard and let them stretch a bit overnight or at least for a few hours.
