Not all women though everyone is different ❤️the stats are disheartening for women who haven’t had children seeing this! I’m 34 nearly 35 I got pregnant first time I tried for some positivity ❤️

Just remember that they are average statistics and not necessarily applicable to everyone. I got pregnant naturally at 40 and had my first baby the week after I turned 41.

Big Ole Potato :
Peak (Fetus): Around 7 million eggs at 20 weeks gestation.
Birth: About 2 million eggs.
Puberty: Drops to 300,000 - 500,000.
Age 30: Around 100,000 - 150,000 (roughly 12% of peak).
Age 37: Around 25,000 eggs.
Age 40: Drops significantly, potentially to 5,000 - 10,000 or less.

The stats are scary! I embarked on my ivf journey at the ripe age of 40 🤦🏽♀️told by my amazing team that I had 3% chance of success. 38 eggs taken, 3 became A+ blastocysts, and amazingly had my baby Monty the day before I turned 41, and he’s now 8 and thriving. Never give up.

I'm 35 soon to be 36 and had my AMH (egg reserve) checked in sept last year for fertility treatment and was told I have 21 eggs left. I'm scared to know how many I have now 😞 every month I get waves of emotions saying another egg or 2 gone.

I had ashermans syndrome - a completely obliterated uterus- after d &cs post miscarriages. I saw Dr Haider Jan in London - he was incredible! I conceived naturally the cycle after he removed the scarring and had a successful pregnancy 🩷

We are born with 1-2million eggs. By puberty this goes down to approx 300k-400k. As per the stats shared if it goes down to 3% that is still roughly 9k-12k eggs. Please do not feel discouraged ♥️

I have Asherman’s as well and it’s a tough tough road. Thankfully, i managed to have scar tissue ‘cut’ and brought our little girl into the world via IVF (with a lining of 5.4mm…..). Wishing you the absolute very best

If I hadn’t had children in 30s I would have eggs checked just incase. Luckily had 4 children naturally and last one was at 43.

I feel your you . I did 4 rounds of ivf and my body rejected all the embryos and the pregnancy’s that did work . It’s so tuff and emotional. I wish you all the luck in the world 🙏🏼

This! I know society rams it in our heads too much about our biological clock but it is a legitimate concern. I’m 35 and pregnant with my first baby. Although we have no plan of baby #2, many people have asked during my pregnancy and while finance is the first concern in having a second child, fertility is a close second concern as if we were to have another baby, we wouldn’t want 2 under 2 or even under 3
