I think maybe we should reposition this mindset. What you need to start thinking is like a middle manager, not a project manager.. someone who has many meetings that purely are reviewing the failures of the past weeks request and the lack of obtaining the overall companies objective. A person who has to find reasons to go on golf outings has to find reasons not to be in the office and not be at their desk and can respond only by Mobile devices. They don't really know what's going on. They're going to take all the credit for sure and they're going to give many unreasonable expectations that the coders will have to figure out. That is your path success. If you want to have value, if you want to believe that, you understand what's going on, if you want to actually try to learn from the building of the project by observing the creation of the code base, you will fail..
