It has now been a week, and the 49-year-old mother and grandmother still hasn't been found. Heinz was last seen around 10 p.m. on January 28 at a Shell gas station on S.C. Hwy. 200 in Winnsboro, South Carolina. When she didn’t show up for work two days later on January 30 — something coworkers say was completely out of character — her employer activated GPS tracking on her company vehicle. The car was found abandoned on the shoulder of Interstate 77 in the Blythewood area, about 15 miles from where she was last seen. Sabrina’s personal belongings were still inside. Investigators launched an extensive search of the surrounding woods, using K-9s, drones, an airplane, and more than a dozen investigators on the ground. That search was briefly paused by a winter storm, then resumed in full earlier this week. Sabrina is 5’2”, about 160 pounds, and was last seen wearing a red short-sleeve collared shirt over a black long-sleeve top, with black pants. Authorities say they are concerned for her safety and believe it’s possible someone stopped to help her and may know what happened.
