Shokz True Wireless solves the issues with comfort and the back wire. And they can be worn monaural! I have both and agree with your notes, they make compromises in ways that you don’t get with other exercise headphones. Great video!!

I’ll be honest. I don’t trust them. I feel like there’ll be a huge scandal about them in a decade.

The difference between the "regular" and the Pro versions are that speaker. they added the speaker for fidelity, cause as you would guess, they have zero bass with just bone conduction.

Safety. Women especially, use them when they are running or cycling to hear what’s going on around them. Big for marathon training. Plus good

they are comfortable, useful and finally sounding good without the "buzzing" feeling, the technology got good enough, I wear them all day without any discomfort, I take my calls on them, they connect both to my phone and my work laptop, I can still talk to people near me, they literally do everything *right* I love them, my favorite headphones

spending the money for a specific use item is wild to me ! not a day to day but only for training isn't worthwhile in this economy.

I've had a pair for years that I used pretty much only for running. Earbuds never stayed in place and headphones felt too heavy on a run, so these felt like a great solution.

I’ve had these for years. Use them to run/cycle. The awareness of your surrounds is well worth the audio quality trade off

I have the shokz openswim ones for swimming. But definitely prefer earbuds for regular exercise.

I've had mine for years, it's great for the grocery store and being around outside where I wanna hear my music but be aware of my surroundings. they obvs don't compare to my Sony noise cancelling headphones but that's not the intention. I use them for working at the office, it's very incognito that way.

You should try the OpenFits. I just upgraded to those and they get rid of the band around the head. Definitely more comfortable.

Aren't these waterproof? Can you make a swimming test?

Safety. Cycling to work so I don’t get hit by a car. And just being a woman

you forget they are on, especially if you put your glasses on first then your shokz on after, not the other way around. they keep you aware of your surroundings for moments where interruptions are probable, but are not as intrusive feeling as buds. I love mine for podcasts and tik toks while I do chores.

def not a daily driver. but if you live in the city and do runs or especially ride a bike, they’re the best investment. be safe, can’t appreciate proper sound when you’re 💀

Yeah when I saw you got them my 1st thought was he's definitely going to mention the bass lol
They're cumbersome with long hair 😵💫 but once on they're so comfortable, I forget I have them on sometimes. Which also became an issue because guess who fell asleep with them on and broke the band 🙋♂️🤦♂️

I’d be very interested how they compare to the new OpenFit Pro. Any chance for a comparison?

Well they sounded terrible until the Open Run Pro 2's came out, they don't fall off, they can be worn in torrential rain, they are so light you don't realise they are there

Great for exercise, but also great at home for parents if you want to listen to a podcast and still hear your kids, partner - just generally being more present without having to be ear plugs in.

I like being aware of my environment. I don’t like stuff in my ears for too long. They feel great.
