For us Italians, it’s much more difficult because we have il, lo, la, le, gli, i, and they don’t match the German genders of nouns. For example, in German they say die Milch (feminine), while in Italian we say il latte (masculine). So every time I have to speak German, I have to think twice before saying a word.
