Guys take note that this is not a sign to raid the beaches and deplete them of shells. It takes resources away from many species. One instance, people were taking so many shells that rangers had to manually replenish them for the hermit crabs 😭

I have so many beautiful shells from Sanibel. I also have the prize Junonia shell. I found her at Bowman’s beach after a storm — early morning shortly after sunrise. I was just on Sanibel too. My grandparents have a winter home there
