Dental hygienist here, 90% of people have a white coating on their tongue. It is biofilm that can be removed with daily tongue scraping. Its very similar to the plaque found on your teeth, just needs to be removed daily. Pretty harmless!

Yall believing anything on TikTok without doing your own research. White tongue is caused by mouth breathing sleep, not brushing, or dehydration, and even without these it appears naturally. 30% wake up with white tongue and 0.1% is because of candida overgrowth
