@crmnallyobsessed: Four days into the investigation, the nation is gripped by the disappearance of “Today” co-host Savannah Guthrie’s mother, #NancyGuthrie, who was taken from her Tucson, Arizona, home under alarming circumstances. With signs of forced entry, presence of blood at the scene, DNA evidence, but no suspect identified, the clock is ticking in the search for answers. In this interview, investigative reporter Anne Emerson dives into the latest on the case: what we do know, what authorities are keeping close to the vest, and why victim-centered analysis is critical in this kind of investigation. Anne speaks with Dr. Laura Pettler, a leading criminologist, about the importance of understanding a victim to catch a perpetrator. We tackle rumors vs. facts in the case, blood spatter analysis, and why law enforcement is urging the public to focus on verified information. SUBMIT TIPS: If you have any information that could help locate Nancy Guthrie, please contact the Pima County Sheriff’s Department tip line at (520) 351-4900 or 911.
