We do the same thing over here in NH. I agree with you about rolling over the lump sum- taxes are a killer! I’m a special ed teacher 33yrs and retiring also! Congratulations🎉🎉

I saw something recently about taking some things out now and putting them into a Roth because taking the hit on the taxes before we have the big amounts coming in will help. I don’t understand it but it’s seems like so much! Also be sure to take that long term care option!
