As a Muslim, there is no issue for non Muslims to use Alhamdulillah. It’s Arabic, it has nothing to do with the religion. Allah refers to god, direct translation from Arabic. Even Christian Arabic people use Allah to refer god. All these Malay people ni Islam sebab mak bapa Islam. And for them orang Melayu and orang Arab je Islam lol

If using the arabic words “alhamdulilah”, “inshallah” is seen offending the sensitivity of the muslims, should the muslims also forbid christian arabs to use the same arabic words in their country or is this only in Malaysia? Then again, Malaysian national language is bahasa Malaysia, right?

Correct me I'm wrong, but I'm hearing from my Malay friends whom came from east coast mentioned that non-Muslims at PN-led states allowed to use those Arabic word when communicating with their close Malay friends or neighbours as long they fully understand the meaning and they use the word with polite intention? (however in other states the fatwa still forbade this practice among non-Muslims to prevent misunderstanding)

As a chinese indonesian with mix thai and as a buddhist myself, i can tell you that i berucap lagi bnyk dri pda kawan saya yg muslim, i dun see this is a big issue, how is this being a religious issue? Jgnlah meng-Islam kan Islam … sudah byk perpecahan terjadi

Yb is not wrong but i get her point also. Alhumdullilah is an Arabic word, and personally i don’t find it odd if non Muslim use it. BUT it pmo when they use to pay around with it and that goes for Muslim who also make fun of its usage.
