Was in Japan for 2.5 weeks in December… I’ve thought about it every single day.. it’s been nearly 4 months.. my family has been eating a lot of Japanese food at home now though 🤣 can’t stop cooking while trying to re-capture the feeling

I went a little over 3 years ago, and my heart still misses Japan but the first few months are the hardest. I think a big part is recognizing how fake our food is and how unfilling it is compared to food over there, and how much cleaner and more organized as a society they are. People here legit don’t gaf and our health system is legit tryna poison us so we spend more money on healthcare they force us to need. I’m going again in a few weeks but I’m dreading coming home just to have it hit me full force again. And when I went before there wasn’t a huge crisis with war and neighbors and children being abducted by wannabe law enforcement. Obviously I can’t say much for government in Japan because I’m not following it as closely as I follow the country that I reside in and I know there’s a lot of issues within Japan especially in terms of women safety, but man it’s so sad seeing the US take major steps backwards time and time again.
