A cool GWAR story I have is when around Ragnarok was released I was with a few friends of mine in 94' and we were on our way to a concert in Cleveland and we had some time to waste and decided to stop at a local record store called "the record extange" and it turns out that when we got there GWAR was there just finishing an in store meet and greet! They were hanging around a bit afterwards looking around to pick up some cd's or whatever else was of interest and got to meet the whole band including Slymenstra Hymen! We did end up being slightly late to the show we were going to but none of the openers we were to interested in seeing which it all worked out anyway because we got to hang out with Dave and everyone else for a while it was a fair trade. It was pure surprise because we had no idea they were in town it was pure chance.
