Honestly 83 or Why Georgia are two really good fingerstyle to strumming songs to get into playing more of John Mayer’s songs. Once you get those down, stop this train and heart of life are good to learn. Neon is something you should learn after those second two bc by then you should be used to only using your thumb and pointer finger to play.

Who Says is quite difficult. For beginners I would not suggest any JM fingerstyle songs. I'd recommend learning My Stupid Mouth first. Why Georgia is another good one, but for more intermediate player.
