Another case of excessive force. yes he had a knife and he was trying to hurt somebody with that knife which is enough for the officer to fire on him, but nowhere near enough for him to empty a magazine into the guy. It's crazy how often scared cops do this when one single round is usually more than enough in a lot of circumstances. given how fast everything went down I can see why he discharged his firearm instead of deploying a taser but emptying an entire magazine? there's no excuse.
