ABOUT THE SCHEME; HON. DANIEL KESHI BESSEY SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME is a scheme designed to support the brilliant but needy students in the Sege Constituency (Ada West District). The scheme lessens the burden of parents, gives light to dreams, bridge the gap between financial resources and access to education and develop the human resources for societal and national growth. This scholarship will be administered under the office of the Member of Parliament and will be targeted at the students at the second cycle and tertiary institutions across the country in the public accredited institutions. The Member of Parliament recognizes that access to quality education is a fundamental human right and a powerful catalyst for socio-economic transformation, youth empowerment, and community development within the district. The Member of Parliament is equally aware that many brilliant, talented, and ambitious students from and within the constituency face severe financial constraints that threaten to hinder their academic pursuits at secondary and tertiary levels. This vision is birthed by the desire of the Member of Parliament to bridge the educational gap, reduce the burden on vulnerable families, and cultivate a highly skilled human resource base, capable of driving the future growth of Sege Constituency (Ada West). It is in the hope of achieving the above, that this scholarship scheme is birthed and all individuals, groups and corporate entities are invited onboard to help actualize and sustain this dream.
