Not true, the belts break up due to the fibers used no grade of oil will ever prevent that

That and changing the damn oil frequently. My friend has a 2013 F150 3.5l Ecoboost with 294k miles and has never had the timing or turbos touched. He changes the oil between 3k and 5k miles religiously.

oh no :
The issue is why did they decide to run the belt in oil in the first place? Cambelts have worked fine for decades without it

Use E5 fuel, the additional ethanol in E10 degrades the belt quicker

the only way to make a ecoboost last longer is don't start the engine .

use the correct oil, not just the correct viscosity, change the oil on time. Use E5 fuel, the ethanol in E10 contaminates the oil and causes the belt to degrade. Dayco tested these belts to last 150,000 miles, its got nothing to do with "oil and rubber not mixing" and everything to do with poor maintenance.

Wrong, they break up anyway due to the heat cycles.... So regardless of what oil you use it'll still deteriorate.
