On one hand the teen was fleeing and therefore no longer a threat TO HIM. He is however potentially still a threat to others outside the home.

"fleeing" is a matter of perspective. He could have been heading to get his buddies or retrive weapons so he was still a threat. Running or not, inside the residence is fair game. 👍
