Across his almost 20-year and 247 cap career that began in August 2006, David has worn the jersey with immense pride, guiding Ireland to two Olympic Games, captaining the team to a EuroHockey Championship Bronze medal, representing Ireland in countless major competitions, and inspiring those that came after him to chase their dreams with bravery and belief.
